1. Dispense TiCl 3 into a sterile, argonated, 40 ml Balch bottle in the anaerobic bag. Remove from hood. |

2. Add 154 mg of TiCl 3 to a sterile, argonated, 40 ml Balch bottle. |
|
-about 0.55 ml of 1.9M (30%) |
|
3. Add 4.8 ml of sterile, argonated 500 mM NaCitrate to the 40 ml Balch bottle. |
|
4. Add 7.2 ml of sterile, argonated 1 M tris pH8 to the Balch bottle. |
|
5. Mix a few minutes. |
|
6. To test, add 0.05 ml of 83 mM Ti(III)Cit. to a Balch bottle of media. |
